Topia Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established the following privacy policy in order to comply with Japan's "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" concerning personal information protection, laws and guidelines related to the protection of personal information, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc. We will strongly convey the importance of personal information within the company and enforce the protection of personal information.
addition, with privacy being an essential management issue for the Company and its group companies, we will take appropriate technical and organizational measures based on the following policies to carefully manage personal information.

１　About Personal Information

Personal information subject to the protection and management of the Company includes any information about a person (individual) which can be used for identifying purposes, such as the individual’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or other any other identifying information.

２　Acquisition of Personal Information

The Company will indicate the purpose of use before acquiring personal information by lawful and fair.

３　Purpose of Use of Personal Information

１)The Company will use personal information only when it is necessary for business execution within the scope of the stated purpose of use at the time of acquisition.
２)Per the Company:

• To conduct sales activities, such as advertising, communication, and information provision.
• To ship goods (products, materials, materials, equipment, etc.) and documents (catalogs, slips, personnel documents, etc.).
• For the safety and management of visitors.
• To conduct payment business for commercial transactions.
• To contact applicants for recruitment and for other recruitment work in general.
• To implement procedures for accepting internships.
• To conduct factory tours and follow travel procedures, including factories at overseas subsidiaries.

5. When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.
6. When entrusting the handling of personal information in whole or in part to a third party only the necessary information needed in order to achieve the above purpose of use will be disclosed.
7. When it is necessary to provide personal information for the succession of business due to merger or other related reasons.

５　Provision for Third Parties

In order to achieve the above purpose of use, the Company will provide customers' personal information to third parties, such as our subsidiaries and subcontractors.This includes Japan and other countries outside the EU. With respect to the provision of personal information, consenting to the privacy policy includes consent that your personal information may be provided to third parties in countries outside the EU.
In addition, when providing your personal information to a third party outside the EU, we will take measures to protect this information by adhering to the Standard Contractual Clause (SCC) stipulated in the GDPR.

In order to prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information, the Company will take necessary precautionary measures, such as maintaining a security system, establishing a management system, and conducting employee education.
In addition, we will respond appropriately on the occasion that there is a request for correction or deletion of personal information.
